Microsoft PowerPoint has always been able to run audio-track on a CD as part of a slide presentation. To do this, make an audio CD in the CD drive and select Insert> Movies and Sounds> Play Track Audio CD… the pull-down menu. Then you can control which of the track sites to be run, operating in appropriate settings dialog box with options and Movie Sound Options, shown on the right side.

A much better option is to convert audio-track CD in MP3 files and then run files as part of the presentation, instead using music from the CD. Thus, you make presentations to be more portable and less susceptible to damages of time.
MP3 file Insert

This tutorial starts from the premise that already have some MP3 files ready to be used. Positionate these files in the same folder and file presentation on the work currently.

In your PowerPoint presentation, find the slide that you want to add an audio track. Then, select Insert> Movies and Sounds> Sound File… from the pull-down menu. Find MP3 file you want using the dialog box Insert Sound and click on the OK button. Then you will be asked to specify if you want the sound to run automatically in the presentation slides. Click on Yes or No, depending on the case. You can always change this option if you’re not sure.

You will see a small icon appears in the middle of the slide. This icon represents the sound file. Delete the icon , remove track of the presentation. You can move elsewhere icon of the slide if you need to see it during the presentation, or you can move on the slide if you want to hide it during the presentation. It is enough to give him and see it move elsewhere.

May there is a way to hide the icons sound, and we get to it later, but removing icon the area’s slide is probably the simplest method.

Basically, there are three possible way for any effect animation, including run-track audio. These are as follows: On Click (click) With Previous (along with the previous one) and After Previous (after the previous one). If detonation set to start “On Click”, the track will start to run when the mouse button is pressed. If detonation start is set on “With Previous”, the track will start to run simultaneously with the event animation. Using this way is possible to run the track while another object or other objects move on the slide.

If detonation start is set on “After Previous”, the track will start to run after the previous animation event ended. However, this has an additional parameter that lets you set a time delay in units the second half. This means that, for example, you could put your track run within 4.5 seconds after the previous event has ended.

When you insert a sound file, is set to detonation On Click if you choose not to track the start automatically, and is set to the Previous After a delay of 0 seconds if you choose to start automatically. current home is displayed in the top of the Custom Animation panel, the list “Start”. It may be changed by clicking the arrow on the lower guidance and selecting an option different from the list.

If detonation start is set to After Previous, you can set the delay time by clicking the arrow oriented lower near the file name from the list of animation and timing… selecting from the menu (see illustrations above). This shows the tab for the timing box dialog Play Sound, visible in the left side.

Use option Delay for a set number of seconds as you expect your audio track, after the conclusion of the event earlier, before running to start.

The other option that you might be useful here is Repeat. A can be used to control the number of repetitions of a sound. This option may not be very useful if track design audio great length, but can be useful when working with short sound effects.
How (effect)

To control the way in which a running track, click on the arrow oriented located at the lower right sound file name on the panel and select Custom Animation Effect Options… from the menu. This action will lead to displaying the Effect tab on the dialog box Sound Play, shown below.

Track your will continue to run until it reaches specified event, but nevertheless, the track will stop automatically if you get to the final event before stopping to be reached.

Section setting sound of the dialog box can be used to control volume and track the visibility of the iconi sound while running presentation. You can use this option “Hide while not playing” ( “Hide while not running”) as an alternative to moving on iconului slide.
Running track’s audio

Once you have operated various changes, there is neither a special action on that need to make one. With the condition to have a sound card in your computer, too, that it be connected to some speakers, and speakers are turned on, you’ll hear the audio track during the presentation slides.

There is one final issue to be clarified, and this is important because the take on in PowerPoint. Probably already know that when you insert an image into a slide image is an integral part of the presentation file. There are treated equally and sound files and film. When you insert a sound file into a slide, produces a link to audio file. The sound is not part of the file when the presentation is saved. If you want to transfer a presentation on another computer, you must move and sound file, because otherwise will not hear any sound. When it comes to a detonation file sound during a presentation, PowerPoint file search sound where it was located when it was inserted for the first time. If the file is not found, the sound will not be run.

In general, it is advisable you stock files sound and film in the same folder with the file associated presentation. This means that you can move or copy the folder at the same time being sure that all files target of the links is in the same place, even when a move to another computer or when a copy on a CD.
